Pisces and Mermaids

THE COSMIC MERMAID flows with the sea’s currents. She has infinite love and compassion like the astrological sign of the Fish, Pisces.  Her sweet siren’s voice mesmerizes all those who hear I her sing…. Exquisite beauty, fantasy, a watery dream world and profound depths of feeling like the ocean are the realm of Pisces. I have painted her on a large hard board, the paper makes a very fine base that allows delicate  and fine detail. I have used gauche, acrylic paint and airbrush  with washes of water colours over the waves. At 60 by 48 inches, it is a large painting and has a very strong and sweet presence.. It takes us into a watery dreamy fantasy world when viewed .

The stellium in Pisces of the past few weeks has crystallized - and  she is almost finished.
